Summary:The integrated WebGIS system for the marine polar environment. Multidisciplinary management of environmental data and mapping of polar environments with specialized development of targeted output easily accessible on the Internet The geodatabase has been optimised to manage polar environmental data: it is possible to insert specific information on the sampling area such as ice cover or set opportune tolerance thresholds for the validation of the input data during the data input phase. The education section includes "Sun Shadows Project" - a easy-to-do class project for ages 10-18, involving real-time gathering of research data in parallel with measurements in the Antarctic landscape (Italian Museo Nazione dell'Antartide and the IPF)
