Podczas wojny polsko-kawieckiej 1919-1920 nastąpiło starcie świata cywilizowanego z barbarzyńskim. Obie strony konfliktu miały zmobilizować swoje próby do walki z wojennymi wojennymi losami. Autor analizalizował kilkanaście polskich i radzieckich plakatów wojennych i analizował że prowadziły one swoją propagandę. Używały innego obrazu wroga. W przypadku polskiej propagandy wrogowie byli pokazywani przeważnie jako barbarzyńcy. Sowieci wskazywali mniejszościom żyjącym na ziemiach polskich wroga klasowego
