Summary:Bifrost is the sea ice charting system of the Norwegian Ice Service, part of the Norwegian Meteorological Institute. The system consists of 2 virtual machines (based on Lubuntu Xenial Vagrant boxes) that act as a server and client. The server provides satellite data processing, database operations, and ice chart output capabilities. The client acts as a GIS workstation and uses QGIS to provide ice charting tools to an ice analyst.
