Description
Summary:Continuous cloud radar observations are carried out at the high-Arctic site AWIPEV in Ny-Ålesund, Svalbard, since 2016. Two zenith-pointing 94 GHz (W-band) frequency modulated continuous wave Doppler radars, named JOYRAD-94 and MiRAC-A, have been operated alternatingly. Data sets from these radars collected in 2016-2022 are currently under review in Pangaea. The radar data was post-processed to correct for Doppler aliasing and the radar calibration was adjusted based on a reference radar. These scripts were used to process the data from the lv0 file provided by the instrument software, to quality controlled and corrected data products.
