Description
Summary:The South Atlantic Anomaly (SAA) is a geophysical phenomenon characterized by the weakening of the Earth's magnetic field over the South Atlantic Ocean region. AAS has been the subject of study by many scientists around the world, due to its magnitude and potential impact on satellite-based technologies such as navigation and communications. Several theories have been proposed to explain the origin of the anomaly, but there are still many uncertainties about it. This article presents a review of the literature on the South Atlantic anomaly, focusing on its characteristics, origin, impacts and recent research.
