Summary:Initial release - official release corresponding to accepted JOSS article. Known issues: when hexagons containing either the North or South pole are present, hexagon colour may bleed through the entire plot generation of discrete color scales under rare circumstances, including: generating discrete color scales with not enough hues to fill the scale; and generating diverging discrete colour scales with the center hue in a weird position positioning and height of the colour bar with respect to the plot area of the figure in some cases
