Description
Summary:The data processing codes were established to process raw data files recorded by the broadband radiation probe (Lonardi et al. 2022) during balloon-borne measurements on the Multidisciplinary Observatory for the Study of Arctic Climate (MOSAiC, Shupe et al. 2022) expedition. This Matlab file processes the raw data files of a pair of up- and down-looking pyrgeometers (CGR4, Kipp & Zonen) and a pair of up- and down-looking pyranometers (CMP3, Kipp & Zonen). Additional data from a pressure and temperature sensor (BME280, Bosch) and from an inertial measurement unit (10-DOF, Adafruit Industries) are combined. Overall, the data is calibrated and temperature corrected. The terrestrial dataset is additionally deconvoluted and averaged over 3 seconds. The barometric altitude is calculated based on a pressure and temperature sensor (BME280, Bosch) at the start of each balloon flight. The codes were used to process the data set published on PANGAEA: https://doi.org/10.1594/PANGAEA.944200 and https://doi.org/10.1594/PANGAEA.944232
