Summary:Individual growth increment measurements (µm) of the 21 live collected A. islandica used in the publication entitled : "The 18.6-year lunar nodal cycle may affect ecosystems on the Northwest Atlantic continental shelves". All information regarding data acquisition are presented in the section "2. Construction of Arctica islandica master chronology" of the article submitted to Journal of Marine Systems. Data are presented as a "Tucson File" which is a standard format for tree-ring dataset (see : http://www.cybis.se/wiki/index.php?title=Tucson_format for a precise description). This work was supported by the EC2CO program MATISSE of the CNRS INSU, the Cluster of Excellence LabexMER, and the LIA BeBEST CNRS INEE. This research was carried out as part of the Ph.D. thesis of PP at the University of Western Brittany with a French Ministry of Higher Education and Research grant.
