Description
Summary:Two Excel files are uploaded to show the results of manual measurements of sea ice and fresh ice, which are labeled sea ice and fresh ice , respectively. Each file has five sheets showing the results of ice samples with diameter = 65, 90, 120, 150, and 190 mm. In each individual sheet, the information of data, time, time difference and mass, diameter as well as thickness of ice sample is given for tests with different preliminary water temperatures. For sea ice, the preliminary water temperatures are −0.5, 0, 0.5, 1.0, and 1.5 °C, and for fresh ice, the preliminary water temperatures are 0.5, 1.5, 2.0, and 3.0 °C. The detailed introduction on the ice melt experiments can be found in the word file Experiment and data introduction .
