Summary:Margarinotus brunneus (Fabricius, 1775) Palearctic species, ranging eastward to Yakutia and Lake Baikal and to Kazakhstan and the mountains of Central Asia; also introduced to the east coast of North America. Recorded several times in mountainous regions of Poland (Burakowski et al. 1978). Caught only in the Eastern Beskids: Western Bieszczady (Kalnica, 471 m a.s.l.).
