Summary:Plumularia setacea (Linnaeus, 1758) (fig. 5A –C) Sertularia setacea Linnaeus, 1758: 813. Plumularia setacea – Calder, 1997: 17, fig. 4. – Vervoort & Watson, 2003: 398, figs 96G, 97A–G, 98A. Material examined. Stn. I10, 28.xi.2007: several stems, up to 2.9 cm high, some bearing gonothecae (NHM 2009.25). Distribution. A cosmopolitan species, except in truly Arctic and Antarctic waters (Calder 1997). This is the first record of this species for Tristan da Cunha.
