Material examined. Stn. I10, 28.xi.2007: several stems, up to 2.9 cm high, some bearing gonothecae (NHM 2009.25). Distribution. A cosmopolitan species, except in truly Arctic and Antarctic waters (Calder 1997). This is the first record of this species for Tristan da Cunha.
