Summary:Phelloderma sp. nov. (Fig. 10 B) Material. 1 specimen (holotype) from station 039- 11 (SMF 11726), 2151.5 m, 64 ° 28.80 ' S, 2 ° 52.52 ' E, 0 3.01. 2008. Description. A rounded encrusting sponge of 19 mm diameter overgrowing a rock. Without specialized ectosome, choanosomal skeleton consisting of radially arranged bundles of styles. Spicules styles, slightly polytylote, 580–710 x 14–17 µm, arcuate isochelae 27–38 µm, and oxychaetes 118–168 µm. Remarks.
