Its presence in Iran on peppermint and alfalfa (Khaghaninia et al. 2011) should be verified by an analysis of the East Azarbaijan specimens studied by Khaghaninia et al. ( op . cit .) (Aukema et al. 2013). General distribution. European species, known from the Asian part of Turkey and from North America: Alaska, Yukon and Northwest Territories (Scudder & Schwartz 2001).
