Summary:Gnamptodon decoris (Foerster, 1863) Distribution in Iran. Guilan, Mazandaran (Farahani et al. 2014 b). Distribution outside Iran. Austria, Bulgaria, Germany, Hungary, Italy, Netherlands, Wales (van Achterberg 1983; Yu et al. 2012), Greece (van Achterberg 1983 as Gnaptodon decoris; Papp 2007; Yu et al. 2012). Host records. Parasitoid of Nepticulidae (Lepidoptera) in herbs and shrubs: In Netherlands it is reported from Trifurcula cryptella (Stainton) (Lepidoptera: Nepticulidae) on Lotus corniculatus and from Stigmella splendidissimella (Herrisch-schäffer) (Lepidoptera: Nepticulidae) on Rubus sp.; in Hungary, reported from same host on Coronella varia and from Stigmella geminella and on Sanguisorba officinalis; in Wales reported from Stigmella sp. (Lepidoptera: Nepticulidae) on Rosa pimpinellifolia; in Greese from Ectoedemia agrimoniea (Frey) (Lepidoptera: Nepticulidae) on Agrimonia agrimonoides; in Hungary from Stigmella poterii (Stainton) (Lepidoptera: Nepticulidae) on Potentilla erecta Linnaeus and from S. plagicolella (Stainton) (Lepidoptera: Nepticulidae) on Prunus spinosa; in Austria from Stigmella occultella (Heinemann) (Lepidoptera: Nepticulidae) on Potentilla sp.; in West Germany from S. betulicola nanivora Peterson (Lepidoptera: Nepticulidae) on Betula nana Linnaeus (van Achterberg 1983).
