Eiseman, ex Ranunculus repens, #CSE2645, CNC654249 (1♀). Hosts. Ranunculaceae: Ranunculus abortivus L. (Sehgal 1971), R. repens L. Leaf mine. (Fig. 202) Whitish; entirely linear, but sometimes so contorted as to form a secondary blotch. Frass is mostly in discrete but closely spaced black grains. Puparium. Grayish or brown; formed outside the mine. Distribution. USA: CA, CO, *MA, *ME, OR (Frick 1959), WA (Frick 1959); Canada: AB, NL, NS; Europe (including the Faroes, Iceland, and Greenland (Griffiths 1964, 1966)); Japan; Tanzania (Černý & Tschirnhaus 2014).
