Summary:** Palaemon affinis H. Milne Edwards, 1837 Endemic to New Zealand (Yaldwyn 1954; Yaldwyn & Webber 2011). Old records from the Falkland Islands (Miers 1876) and Campbell Island (Filhol 1885) repeated in further literature (see Yaldwyn 1954) are erroneous and likely refer to either Campylonotus spp. (Falklands) or Nauticaris marionis (Campbell Island, see Yaldwyn & Webber 2014).
