Summary:Genus Lawrenceoceras Ulrich, Foerste, Miller & Unklesbay, 1944 Type species Lawrenceoceras collinsi Ulrich, Foerste, Miller & Unklesbay, 1944 from boulders at Point Levis, Levis County, Quebec, Canada (presumably late Floian); by original designation. Diagnosis Smooth, slender, cyrtocones with elliptically depressed cross section. Sutures directly transverse, with very shallow, broad dorsal and ventral lobes. Siphuncle small, about 0.1 of conch diameter, on convex side of conch, almost marginal in position. Siphuncular segments cylindrical or nearly so (compiled from Ulrich et al. 1944).
