The new species is dedicated to Mr. Christer Bergström (Uppsala, Sweden) as an acknowledgment of his life-long work on Nordic Tachinidae. Diagnosis. Linnaemya bergstroemi n. sp. is an unusual Linnaemya with a striking shiny black appearance, 3–4 katepisternal setae, 3 dorsal preapical setae on the tibiae and irregular discal setae on the abdomen.
