Summary:Melitoides makarovi Gurjanova, 1934 Melitoides makarovi Gurjanova, 1934: 127.— Gurjanova, 1936: 39.— Gurjanova, 1951: 752.— Barnard, 1969: 245.— Barnard & Barnard, 1983: 671.—Jarrett & Bousfield, 1996: 34 Distributed throughout the north-east shelf of Sakhalin Island (Budnikova and Bezrukov, 2003; Dzhurinskyi, 2013; our data) (Fig. 24). Also known from Bering Sea and Arctic Ocean, where widely distributed across the Siberian Arctic. M. makarovi was found between 20–230 m on the sand bottom. Inside the Sakhalin shelf occurs in depth of 88–232 m (Budnikova and Bezrukov, 2003; our data).
