Southern entrance to Bahía Magdalena, southern Baja California (Daniel Gotshall, pers. comm. to M.L.) to northern Gulf of California (González-Cuéllar et al. 2012), and Ecuador (Béarez 1996), including Islas Galápago and other offshore islands (Robertson and Allen 2015).
