Sea of Japan off North Korea (Lindberg and Krasyukova 1987) and Pacific Ocean off northern Honshu (Shinohara et al. 1996) to Sea of Okhotsk, to western Bering Sea off Commander Islands (Peden 1978) to Cape Olyutorskiy (59°44’N, 170°20’E) (Personal communication: Russian Academy of Science Ichthyological Collecton at Saint Petersberg).
