Summary:Ruscarius meanyi Jordan & Starks, 1895. Puget Sound Sculpin. To 5.9 cm (2.3 in) TL (Eschmeyer and Herald 1983). Unimak Pass (54°12’N, 165°22’W), western Gulf of Alaska (Maslenikov et al. 2013) to Cordell Bank, northern California (Personal communication: California Academy of Sciences Fish Collection, San Francisco, California). Many larvae have been taken in the Bering Sea (Maslenikov et al. 2013). Benthic; depth: intertidal to 82 m (269 ft) (min.: Eschmeyer and Herald 1983; max.: Peden 1972). Classified by some authors in Artedius.
