Summary:Philoxanthornea clarki Kivganov, 1995 (Figs. 207–209) Philoxanthornea clarki Kivganov, 1995 (in Kivganov & Sharafat 1995): 87, fig. 5. Type host: Sternula albifrons Pallas (Charadriiformes: Sternidae). Type locality: Ukraine. FEMALE (6 specimens from additional host species— Sterna hirundo from Poland). Total body length 580–605. Gnathosoma. Infracapitulum and stylophore apunctate. Each medial branch of peritremes with 1 chamber, each lateral branch with 6–7 chambers. Movable cheliceral digit 105 long. Stylophore 130 long. Idiosoma. Propodonotal shield weakly sclerotized in anterior part. Propodonotal setae slightly ornamented. Length ratio of setae vi:ve:si 1:1.4–1.7:2–2.5. Bases of setae c1 and se located at same transverse level. Hysteronotal shield fused to pygidial shield, apunctate, bearing bases of setae d1, e2 and all terminal setae. Setae d2 slightly (1.2 times) longer than setae d1 and e2. Setae f2 about twice as long as f1 and h1. Setae h2 5–6 times longer than f2. Aggenital setae ag1 and ag3 subequal in length, both setae slightly (1.2 times) longer than ag2. All coxal fields apunctate. Setae 3c 1.5–1.8 times longer than 3b. Legs. Setae tc’III–IV about half as long as tc”III–IV. Fan-like setae p’ and p” of legs III and IV with 4–5 tines. Claws with basal angle. Lengths of setae: vi 25–30, ve 40–50, si 55–65, se 95–110, c1 115–130, c2 85–100, d1 30–40, d2 40–50, e2 35 –40, f1 20–25, f2 40–55, h1 20–25, h2 200–330, ps1 and ps2 20, ag1 160– 185, ag2 130, ag3 180–230, g1 and g2 20, l’RIII 30–40, l’RIV 30–40, tc’III–IV 30, tc”III–IV 60–70, 3b 40–50, 3c 70–75. MALE (1 specimen from additional host species— Sterna hirundo from Poland). Total length 465. Gnathosoma. Infracapitulum apunctate. Each medial branch of peritremes with 1 chamber, each lateral branch with 6–7 chambers. Movable cheliceral digit 90 long. Stylophore apunctate, 115 long. Idiosoma.
