Summary:Genus Pseudolamprops Gamô, 1989 Diagnosis (emended). Carapace with sparse teeth. Antero-lateral angle rounded and denticulate. Ocular lobe with teeth. Telson linguiform, armed with marginal setae (distal and laterally) and 2 subapical dorsal setae exceeding in length the marginal ones. Antennule with long and slender peduncle. Mandible widely truncate at the base. Maxillule palp with 2 setae. First maxilliped with a large dactylus with subapical (not apical) setae. Uropod endopod of 3 articles. Uropod exopod much shorter than the endopod, and composed of 2 subequal articles. Female with rudimentary exopods on pereopods 3 and 4. Male with flagellum of antenna reaching roughly to the end of the abdomen, and with 3 pairs of fully developed pleopods. Type species. Pseudolamprops spinifer Gamô, 1989a. Distribution. North and South Atlantic, East China Sea, and Antarctic. Depths: 1934–4928 m.
