Summary:Dataset supporting: "Sentinel-based inventory of thermokarst lakes and ponds across permafrost landscapes on the Qinghai-Tibet Plateau" Zhiqiang Wei1, Lei Wang2, Cunde Xiao*2, Zhiheng Du*3, Jiahui Lin2, Yaru Feng2, Qian Xu3 These dataset include five polygon vector files (.shp), which include thermokarst lakes and ponds ranging from 500 m2 to 3 × 106 m2 across the entire QTP permafrost landscapes. Attribute items contain: Area (m2), Long (Longitude), Lati (Latitude), Perm_Type (Permafrost type), Elevation (m), Basin (Basin distribution), Annual_Tem (Mean annual air temperature, ℃), Annual_Pre (Mean annual precipitation, mm), Therm_Stab (Permafrost ground thermal stability), ALT (Active layer thickness, m), Vegetation (Vegetation type), NDVI (Normalized Difference Vegetation Index), Soil_Tex (Soil texture), SAWC (Soil available water storage capacity, mm/m).
