Summary:O. ainsliei Folsom, 1924 – Orchesella ainsliei Folsom, 1924: 6 – Entomobrya indigena Stach, 1966: 214 AB Powell & Skaley 1975; Lindo 2014 MB Aitchison 1979, 1983, 1984, 1984a, 1984b, 1984c; Skidmore 1995 ON James 1933; Maynard 1951; Judd 1967; Christiansen & Bellinger 1980, 1998; Skidmore 1995 NF Stach 1966 as indigena Skidmore 1995 Remarks: Technically, Stach’s (1966) Entomobrya indigena record is from “ St. Pierre at Miquelon Isl.” which is a self-governing overseas territory of France situated approximately 25 km off the coast of Newfoundland. However, this species is very likely to occur in Newfoundland. General distribution: Nearctic.
