Summary:Perlesta shawnee Grubbs & Stark, 2004 was described from Illinois and Indiana and has subsequently been reported from Alabama, North Carolina, Virginia (Grubbs & DeWalt 2008) and Kentucky (Grubbs 2012). This species was collected from two locations in the Piedmont Plateau Physiographic Province of Georgia. Material examined.
