Summary:Phialella belgicae (Hartlaub, 1904) Campanulina A Hickson & Gravely, 1907: 31. Campanulina belgicae — Ritchie, 1913: 10, 24; Totton, 1930: 152 –153, fig. 9. ? Opercularella belgicae —Peña Cantero et al., 2004: 2276–2278, fig. 1C–H (synonymy); Peña Cantero, 2008: 453. Opercularella belgicae —Peña Cantero, 2013: 127; Phialella belgicae —Peña Cantero et al., 2013: 742–743, figs 6a, 7a–i, 8a–h; Peña Cantero, 2014a: 1715. Material examined. Stn 67, a few stolonal hydrothecae on algae (NIWA 117504). Ecology and distribution. Eurybathic species found from the low tide level (Billard 1914) to 779 m (Peña Cantero 2014a); present material at 272–286 m, epibiotic on algae. Uncertain distribution (cf. Peña Cantero et al. 2004), probably Pan-Antarctic (Peña Cantero et al. 2013). In Antarctic waters, recently reported from off Deception Island (Peña Cantero 2008) and Low Island (Peña Cantero 2013), in West Antarctica, and off Queen Mary Coast (Peña Cantero 2014a), in East Antarctica. See Peña Cantero et al. (2004) for previous records. In the Ross Sea, already known from McMurdo (Hickson & Gravely 1907; Totton 1930), off Cape Royds (Ritchie 1913) and Tethys Bay (Peña Cantero et al. 2013). Present material collected off Cape Hallet.
