Description
Summary:Four local floras were studied in previously poorly investigated region of the Russian Arctic, lower reaches of the Indigirka River. In surroundings of Kytalyk Research Station intralandscape structure of flora was studied. It is shown that habitats occupying ca. 20% of the territory, provide 60% of the diversity. New locations of rare and endangered species were reported. At Chokurdakh re-inventory of flora was carried out 40 years after the first survey. Results of flora monitoring are discussed in connection with climate change.
