Summary:Agathidium repentinum Horn, 1880 NEWFOUNDLAND: Little Grand Lake, 2 km east of Martin Pond, 24.VI-15. VII.1992 and 15.VII-25.VIII.1992, old fir forest, pitfall trap, (3, MUN); Little Grand Lake, Bakeapple Brook, 24.VI-15.VII.1992 and 15.VII-25.VIII.1992, old fir forest, pitfall trap, (2, MUN); South Pond near South Brook, 11.VI.1979, D.J. Larson and D. Swales, (2, MUN). Agathidium repentinum is newly recorded in Newfoundland and in Atlantic Canada (Fig. 7). This northern species was collected in conifer, poplar, and taiga-willow forests in leaf litter, Sphagnum moss, and on moose dung (Miller and Wheeler 2005).
