Description
Summary:These are matlab output files with smoothed and unsmoothed primary ice edges around Antarctica. The primary ice edge is defined as the northernmost contour of 15% sea ice concentration, and defines the outer boundary of sea ice extent. The brightness data come from three satellites; SSM/I, AMSR-E, and AMSR2 and are converted to sea ice concentrationswith the NASA Team 2 algorithm and the ARTIST algorithm.
