Depth range. 225–3914 m. Habitat. Meso- to bathypelagic. Iberian Seas published records. Off Portugal, 41º37'N – 12º36'W (Tattersall 1955). Off Canary Archipelago (Wittmann et al. 2004, Haroun & Garrido 2003, Wittmann & Riera 2012). South of Canary Islands (Tattersall 1955). Madeira (Wittmann & Riera 2012).
