Summary: | The paper reports basic negative trends in the environmental situation and changes of the Arctic seas. These caused, first and foremost, by the global climate processes, such as the increase of the temperature of the upper soil layers in the surrounding coastal areas and coastal marine waters. Second, changes in the content and composition of the marine sediments, rate of sedimentation and zooplankton structure.
