Description
Summary:This paper studies the indicators of morpho–functional state among students of Nizhnevartovsk State University and compares it with similar parameters obtained in a survey of young men and women of the same age who studied at the university in 2000. The work is based on anthropometry and functional diagnostics. Our study revealed significant gender differences in physical indicators of young men and women in both groups, which is an expected result. As for physical power indicators, the indicators of modern students’ morpho–functional state are lower than those of male and female students enrolled at the university 15 years ago. The study also shows the decrease in functional cardiovascular and respiratory system capacity.
