Titova Distribution. India (Assam), Philippines, China (Taiwan), Japan (Hokkaido, Honshu, Shikoku, Kyushu, Tanegashima, Yakushima); Russia (Southern Primorye, Southern Sakhalin, Shikotan Island). Remarks. The caterpillars live on the Lonicera L. (Caprifoliaceae), there are at least five species of them on Sakhalin (Voroshilov, 1982); in Japan they feed on L. japonica Thunb. (Inoue, 1982). On Sakhalin there are two Alucitidae species, one of them is more common: Pterotopteryx eumorphodactyla (Caradja, 1920) and the other is more rare, currently known only by one specimen from south-western coast of the island, Pterotopteryx spilodesma (Meyrick, 1908).
