This is the data repository for paper entitled "The provenance of Mg-suite rocks in South Pole-Aitken basin: Evidence from the first lunar norite meteorite Arguin 002". This data repository includes an EXCEL (.xlsx) file, which incorporates the mineral EPMA compositions (Table S1), mineral trace-element compositions (Table S2), bulk chemistry with robustness test (Table S3), SIMS U-Pb results (Table S4), mineral modal abundances and the launch-region identification results (Table S5), and parameter used to estimate the size of launch crater (Table S6) in the comprehensive study of the lunar norite meteorite, Arguin 002. It also includes a MATLAB code (.m) file, which demonstrates the detailed procedure to generate the launch-region identification results in Table S5.
