| Summary: | This is an ancestral unilaterally barbed fish spear from Katmai National Park and Preserve on the Alaska Peninsula. Ancestral Alutiit used these spears to harvest fish in rivers, lakes, and the ocean. The hole in it is where a long, leather line likely attached this spearhead to a shaft.
