Description
Summary:These datasets accompany the paper titled "Role of snowfall versus air temperatures forGreenland Ice Sheet melt-albedo feedbacks". We produced a new glacier ice exposure product using the Moderate Resolution Imaging Spectroradiometer (MODIS) onboard NASA's Terra satellite. We combined this product with snowfall and air temperature data from NASA's Modern-Era Retrospective analysis for Research and Applications version 2 (MERRA-2). We then developed regression models to investigate the sensitivity of glacier ice exposure to cumulative winter/spring snowfall and early-summer air temperatures.
