Summary:Recording consists of a series of interviews with First Nations and Inuit members of the community, some through interpreters. Tapes is annotated "Paul Asee, [Justice Paul Rouleau?], Mary Mickeyook, Thomassee Napartuk." Justice Paul Rouleau may be the male voice posing questions and interviewing the speakers. First interview is with an (Inuit?) Elder and hunter with an interpreter. Second interview with woman (Mary Mickeyook?) starts at 17:50 mark. The audio is covered by a loud buzzing and quite difficult to understand until 00:03:33. Digitization possible in part through a Young Canada Works (YCW) program funded through the Department of Canadian Heritage and managed by the Canadian Council of Archives (CCA).
