Summary:This map, which was published by Rand McNally & Co. in 1893 and 1898, shows the political divisions of Canada as they existed after Confederation, including boundary changes up to the Act of 1889, and is the fourth of the series of maps published by the Royal Canadian Geographical Society in recognition of Canada's Centennial of Confederation. Topographical characteristics such as mountains are denoted by hashed marks. Map contains the names of bodies of water, provinces, territories, towns and cities. Transit routes are visible in Canada and the northern United States. Scale is 1 : 180 miles, 1 inch : 283 kilometres, or ca. 1 : 11,404,800.
