The brown plywood hide was built by Ken Abraham and Pierre Mineau in April 1976 before the arrival of the rest of the crew. Both spent that spring in the Wannigan making observations, but moved back and forth to the main camp about 3-4 km away mostly travelling at night so they didn’t disturb too many birds.
