Dearest, I shall not start this letter out by saying I only have a few minutes. It must be getting monotonous. But Ive just found out that my description is due Thurs. and I'm not sure what I want ot &#91mis-spelling: to&#93 describe, but suppose I'll think of something. It has to be of the narrative descriptive sort, so I'll get busy some way. After crew, went to a crew pit party last night, which is nothing more than hot dogs and trimmings around a fire back of the golf course. But it was very nice, songs afterward, 3 eskimo pies etc. Then to a lecture, required, for speech, where the man called us young ladies repeatedly, and tlaked &#91mis-spelling: talked&#93, rather interestingly I admit, about the reproduction of sound over the telephone and radio. Experiments and movies to illustrate. And then bed---not much work done. But it was a bit of a nice day, as it is today, and I couldn't get everything done. I've got to snap out of it, cause there are only a few more weeks left, but --- ! uhhuh, I will. Why didn't you wait for me to come home to clean the attic? It must have been a heck of a job. And I suppose millions of things are gone the way of all conscientiously collected material when the ruthless destroyer comes in the vicinity! Oh yes, the white pants. Id like them very much. I'm running a bit low--or rather a bit stale on the underwear situation, and the pants with supplement nicely. Means I could accumulate a bit more ...
