NEW YORK, Sept. 14.—Harry Richman and Dick Merrill tonight reported the completion of their round-trip transatlantic flight in a forced landing near Musgrave harbor, Newfoundland. A telegram to Eddie Ricken- backer, air line official, signed by the flyers, said they were marooned and in need of supplies. An earlier, unsigned message to Rick- enbacker, read: "Made forced landing account of gas. Damaged propeller." The second message said: "Marooned Musgrave harbor, 150 miles from Harbor Grace. Need mechanic and battery. Small ship can land on beach where we are." First Round-Trip Over Atlantic. The Richman-Merrill flight was the first round-trip flight over the Atlantic ever achieved by man, although it did not reach its objective, Floyd Bennett field, New York.
