HUGE GLACIER FALL BRINGS LARGE WAVE SEWARD, Alaska, April 11 (AP) On a mile-wide front a great section of McCarthy glacier broke off and created a wave which swept three miles and across a reef into Nuka bay, 60 miles from here, nearly drowning a boatman, it was reported here today. Bob Evans, a miner, who was rowing in the bay, said a crashing roar accompanied the falling ice April 3.
