Summary:Alaska To See Movie Filming. ALASKA TO SEE MOVIE FILMING HOLLYWOOD, June 22. (AP)—En route to Ketchikan, Alaska, a film studio camera crew left by train today for Seattle to make background shots for a Paramount picture, "Spawn of the North." At Seattle, the crew, in charge of Richard Talmadge, assistant director, will pick up four launches and six seining craft and sail on the steamer Northwestern to reach Ketchikan in time for the first run of salmon, starting about July 1. The main company, with Henry Hathaway, director, will leave for Alaska in three or four weeks. The cast for the picture has not been selected.
