NEW YORK, July 16.—Georgeanna Lee, 37, plump negress from Ketchikan, Alaska, who set out on a world tour to cure her inferiority complex and get a tall, thin husband while she was doing it, came back today with neither purpose accomplished. She had a'pleasant time trying, however, and although it cost her; $5000 she still has a profitable restaurant and beauty parlor in Ketchikan, and she can still look ahead to opening the Alaskan claims she owns, hoping to find gold. "I'd like a man about 42 years old," she said, "and tall and thin. He'd have to have at least half as much experience as I've had—I don't want a real dumb man—and some money, not much." A graduate of Wilberforce college, Ohio, she said she had even advertised for a husband, with no results. The ones who wanted to marry her were too young or too old. One was a preacher, 55, another a lad of 21. After a brief stay here she will resume her tour, seeking in Russia or in Australia the mate she craves.
