Robert Dearmond, bound for Eugene, Ore., made the trip from Sitka, more than 2000 miles, in slightly over three weeks. He left Sitka in his 16- foot boat on June 23. He plans to row to Seattle, he said, and motor to Eugene from there. He will major in journalism. |
