Summary:Relief Ship For Alaska. RELIEF SHIP FOR ALASKA The Alaska Packers' steamer Arctic, shown at her wharf at Alameda, Calif., was obtained by Col. O. F. Ohlson, manager of the government-owned Alaska railroad, to carry supplies to Alaska to relieve a food shortage caused by the Pacific Coast maritime strike.
