Six days ago a shipment of oranges left Los Angeles for Nome. Today they had arrived, setting a speed record for shipment of fruit from far-away California. The oranges were flown from Los Angeles to Seattle via United Airlines. They were transferred from the airliner to the steamer Juneau and transported to Juneau, Alaska.
