Summary:Glacier Priest To Search For Arctic Fossils: Father Hubbard Plans Tenth Alaska Exploring Trip; Will Investigate Dinosaur Tracks. GLACIER PRIEST TO SEARCH FOR ARCTIC FOSSILS. Father Hubbard Plans Tenth Alaska Exploring Trip; Will Investigate Dinosaur Tracks SANTA CLARA, Calif., June 16. -(I.N.S.)—Will the tracks of the "father of all bears" reveal themselves as the footprints of the mighty prehistoric dinosaur that onoe roamed the Alaskan wilds? Answer to this question will be the fascinating goal of Father Bernard Hubbard's tenth trip of exploration into the frozen North this month, the famous Jesuit priest, known as the "Padre of the Glaciers," revealed at his laboratory on the University of Santa Clara campus today. Father Hubbard will lay aside the robes of his order once again and leave on June 27 for Seattle en route to Juneau for a four-month trip into unexplored Alaska. Legends surrounding giant tracks, believed by the Indians of interior Alaska to be those of the largest bear in history, have interested Father Hubbard for years. He will follow what he thinks is the trail of a dinosaur up the white waters of the Inklin River as far as 200 miles inland to the unexplored Great Bear Lake.
